The majority of my work is functional pottery... to be used, eaten from, drunk from, poured from, or cooked in. I work predominately with wheel thrown pottery in brown or white stoneware clay using lead free oxidation glazes or stains fired to Cone 5 or 6. I enjoy expanding the wheel thrown form with added decoration and working with forms from nature. My pottery is art but is also created for everyday use...
